Darlene Zickefoose
Darlene worked for years as an educator, counselor, and administrator for various institutions. She holds a doctorate in educational administration and supervision and currently is an adjunct professor at George Fox University. One of her favorite adventures was volunteering for the Peace Corps in exotic locales. She’s also served on the National Board of Assistance League, a national nonprofit organization. Darlene married her husband Chuck several decades ago and has adopted his two sons. They moved to the Friendsview Meadow Way neighborhood from Hawaii in 2004. It was the shared values and proximity to GFU and family that drew them here. Darlene has been an active member of the Friendsview community, having served on numerous committees since her move here. In January 2020 Darlene completed a two-year term as chair of the Residents’ Association. Her interests include collecting glass and spending quality time with family.
