Carol Sherwood

Residents' Representative to the Board

Carol retired from teaching at George Fox University in 2012. She received her BSN in nursing from Villanova University in 1975, her Masters in Mental Health Nursing from the University of Texas, and became a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She met her husband David at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN which she attended after high school. A native of Ohio she and her husband David have lived in many parts of the United States following primarily his career as a Social Work educator. They have two sons and three grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren are currently students at George Fox. Carol enjoys reading, gardening, and being with family and friends. She and David moved to Friendsview in 2016.
