Maggie Freese

Maggie serves as the Friendsview residents’ representative to the board of directors. She became a resident of Friendsview in 2012. She has served as secretary of Residents Council and chair of two committees: Education and Health and Safety for Independent Living.  Maggie earned a PhD in clinical psychology and an MPH in epidemiology. She has worked in academic programs, been in private practice, and been a clinician, program developer, supervisor, and administrator in Early Childhood Mental Health for the state of Nevada. She currently works on affordable housing issues through her church and serves as a Providence Hospice volunteer. Maggie enjoys spending time with her family (especially three young grandsons in Portland), taking other people’s dogs for long walks, and reading.
