Abraham Andrade

Health Services Administrator

Abraham E. Andrade joined Friendsview in November 2024 as the Health Services Administrator.

Abraham began his healthcare career in 2007 as a Nurse’s Aide and rapidly advanced to roles in staffing and HR, where he focused on recruitment, development and in talent management, earning awards like the Marquis Companies Legend Award.

Abraham completed a bachelor’s in business administration and became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2014. Since 2014, Abraham has held roles as Executive Director in Eastern Oregon, where he certified a Memory Care Unit and improved Eastern Oregon’s community healthcare partnerships to ensure community members received care close to home.

In 2017, Andrade joined the Oregon Veterans’ Home Lebanon as the Assistant Administrator and became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2019, achieving national quality recognitions such as the American Healthcare Association Malcom Baldridge award at the Bronze and Silver Level consecutively with his team. He also became a Malcolm Baldridge award examiner and used the framework to develop systems which were praised by third party auditors.
In 2022, Abraham founded a consulting firm to extend his impact on healthcare services in Oregon’s communities.

Abraham is a caregiver at heart and maintains his Nurse’s Aide Certification active as well as his Licensed Nursing Home Administrator License, and his Residential Care Facility Administrator’s License. He is approved by the Long-Term Care Administrator’s board as a preceptor for the Administrator in Training (AIT) program.

In his spare time Abraham loves spending time with his family, he loves to hike, run, camp and spend time on the water.
