Christina Jaramillo

Christina Jaramillo has been a leader in long-term care (LTC) and healthcare for more than 2 decades. She began her career in bookkeeping and financial services, as she received her Bachelors in Accounting from Linfield. Shortly after receiving her degree, her professional focus shifted toward working with older adults, as she was the Oregon Director of the Senior Health Insurance & Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) Program. Christina transitioned to working for Oregon’s Department of Human Services, Aging programs, where she managed a multitude of operations and programs, including information systems professionals, provider payment programs, LTC regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and complex case teams, developing unique models of care for our most vulnerable individuals with very complex care.
For the past 7+ years, Christina has been working in private industry in hospice and palliative care. She has been leading operations and administrations for those organizations in the not-for -profit and for-profit sectors, ensuring the highest quality of care and most efficient processes for staff. Along the way, Christina received her Master’s in Healthcare Administration, with a focus in Change Management and Process Improvement. Christina is passionate about ensuring people have the tools and resources that support them to be successful in their lives.
Christina raised her 5 children with her late husband on the Willamette Valley land where she was raised and where she continues to live. Christina enjoys working in her yard and spending time with her family camping, kayaking, watching sporting events, and taking in all that life has to offer.
