Scott Winter
Scott Winter is President of his downtown Newberg firm, Winter Wealth Management, LLC. With professional experiences in behavioral research, insurance and high technology sales and management, Scott brings a diverse background and skill set to his role in helping his clients discover and implement plans to move forward in their financial lives as well as to the multiple advisory boards he serves on.
A graduate of George Fox University with a degree in Psychology, Scott has spent his career integrating the quantitative world of economics and finance with the sometimes blurry and confusing world of human tendencies, biases and decisions. Scott is as curious as they come and an information hound, he absolutely loves hearing the stories and diverse professional and personal backgrounds of all his board colleagues, clients and prospective clients. Scott has continued his connection to George Fox as a member of the Board of Trustees for several years, currently serving as Chair of the Business Management Committee.
After raising their 3 daughters in Dundee, Oregon…Scott and his wife of 33 years, Diana, are currently transitioning to the “empty nest” lifestyle. When he is not spending time with his wife and daughters, Scott enjoys fly fishing for trout and steelhead, duck hunting as well as working around his home and enjoying all that Oregon Wine County has to offer.
