Stephanie Matthew
Stephanie graduated from George Fox University with a major in Biology and a minor in music. She then completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, working in rural health primary care clinics and urgent care centers. In 2012 she returned to GFU to teach Pathophysiology and Pharmacology in the nursing program, and she quickly fell in love with teaching. She then obtained her PhD in Nursing Education through the University of Northern Colorado. She and her husband George have two young children, and they recently moved from Beaverton to Dundee in order to be closer to GFU and to have a space for George’s mother who now lives with them. Stephanie is active with various local music groups, including playing harp with the Chehalem Symphony.
